Padel Coach App respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be processed when you use the app, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information we may process
Depending on the features you use, Padel Coach App may process information such as:
- videos you choose to upload for AI analysis;
- training logs, goals, session notes, match information and progress data;
- equipment and training-related information;
- optional injury, recovery and nutrition information;
- basic account information where provided.
Injury, recovery and nutrition features are optional and user-entered. They are provided for general training and informational purposes and are not medical advice.
AI video analysis
When you submit a video for analysis, the video is processed using AI services to generate coaching feedback.
Uploaded videos are used only for the requested analysis. They may be temporarily uploaded or stored as necessary to complete processing and are not retained for unrelated purposes.
AI-generated coaching feedback is intended for training and informational purposes only. AI analysis may not always be accurate, and users should use their own judgement when applying coaching suggestions.
Analytics and diagnostics
We use limited, privacy-conscious analytics and diagnostic services to understand how the app is used and to improve its reliability and performance.
PostHog
PostHog is used for anonymous product analytics. This may include events such as whether onboarding was completed, whether an analysis was started or completed, whether certain app features were opened, and general app-version or device information.
PostHog may use an anonymous persistent installation identifier so that app usage can be understood across sessions. We do not use PostHog to identify you personally.
We have disabled session replay, automatic screen capture, touch capture, automatic screen tracking, advertising tracking and other unnecessary automatic data collection.
Sentry
Sentry is used for crash reporting, error diagnostics and limited performance monitoring. This helps us identify technical problems and improve app stability.
Sentry is configured to avoid collecting personally identifiable information and to remove IP address and geographic information from stored diagnostic events.
Information excluded from analytics and diagnostics
Padel Coach App is specifically configured so that PostHog and Sentry do not receive:
- uploaded videos or video file paths;
- AI prompts or AI-generated report content;
- training notes or profile answers;
- names or email addresses;
- injury or health information;
- nutrition or meal information;
- raw user-generated content.
We do not use analytics data for advertising, behavioural advertising or cross-app tracking.
How information is used
Information is used only where necessary to:
- provide the features of Padel Coach App;
- process requested AI video analysis;
- save your training and progress information;
- improve app functionality and usability;
- diagnose crashes, errors and performance problems;
- understand anonymous usage patterns so we can improve the product.
We do not sell your personal information.
Third-party service providers
Padel Coach App uses third-party technology providers where required to operate the service. These may include:
- Google / Gemini and Google Cloud for AI processing and related infrastructure;
- Sentry for crash, error and performance monitoring;
- PostHog for anonymous product analytics;
- RevenueCat and Apple for subscription and in-app purchase functionality.
These providers process information according to their own privacy policies and the services we configure them to provide.
Payments and subscriptions
Payments and subscriptions are processed through Apple’s App Store and supported subscription infrastructure. Padel Coach App does not receive or store your full payment-card details.
Data retention
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the relevant app feature, maintain the service, meet legitimate operational requirements, or comply with applicable legal obligations.
Video files uploaded for AI analysis are intended to be temporary and are not retained for unrelated use.
Diagnostic and anonymous analytics information may be retained by Sentry and PostHog in accordance with their configured retention periods and applicable service policies.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information processed through Padel Coach App. However, no electronic system or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to request access, correction or deletion of certain information.
You may also stop future analytics collection by discontinuing use of the app. Additional privacy controls may be introduced within the app as the service develops.

Padel Coach App is not intended for children under the age of 13.
